The Chamber as a business representative organisation is made up of its members, its Council and its staff. Each year at the Annual General Meeting its executive Council is elected by the members. This Council comprises of 10 members which inlcudes the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and PRO who are elected for a one year term. The Chamber also employs a full-time Chief Executive Officer who works on behalf of the members and pursues the economic business interests of the town of Ballyhaunis. Specific projects are identified and delivered in the context of economic development and business support in the locality.
